Geoff Tate of Seattle, Washington's Queensryche says the band is already in the early stages of writing new tunes for what will be the bands 13th album. Tate says that new music is what drives the band and keeps their live shows from becoming stale. The band has a mobile studio on the road that resembles a laboratory where they can lay down new material right then and there. Tate says having the ability to work on new music on the road helps the band cope with playing songs they've played over the past three decades.

Queensryche is currently on tour celebrating 30 years.
