Rage Against the Machine are one of the most electric acts of their time, masterfully fusing rap stylings with the hard-hitting punch of metal and hardcore. No band has done this better than the Los Angeles quartet and now it's time to introduce a new style to the band's sound: the banjo! What? Yes, the banjo... and more folk instruments!

Banjo Guy Ollie has uploaded several cover songs using his extensive collection of folk instruments. The latest song to get a twangy makeover is the Rage Against the Machine smash "Killing in the Name Of." The instruments set to perform the task include the banjo, mandolin and more. A brush drumstick lightly strikes the snare to accent the song and keep everything in time.

The gentle strumming and plucking of the steel strings zap all the force out of the volatile original, but at least we don't have to endure any Bob Dylan impressions singing Zack de la Rocha's scathing political lyrics.

In the past, we've been treated to other banjo covers of heavy hits, namely from the Finnish sensation Steve 'n' Seagulls. The full band have done folk version of classics by Iron Maiden, Metallica and AC/DC and even embarked on their first ever U.S. tour back in September.
