Rangers Nelson Cruz Slams The Motor City Kitties [PIC]

If the Detroit Tigers learned anything on Monday night…it’s you don’t bean Cruz and expect not to pay for it.

In the bottom of the seventh inning Nelson Cruz tied game 2 3-3 with a solo home run. In the bottom of the ninth the Tigers threw the high heat at Cruz hitting him in the forearm. In the bottom of the 11th Nelson Cruz hit the first ever walk-off grand slam in ACLS history to give the Texas Rangers a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.

Cruz said after the historic blast “He got me mad and I wanted to prove…you know.” The series now moves to Detroit on Tuesday Night for three straight games.
