John Frusciante, former guitarist for The Red Hot Chili Peppers, says he is being "stalked" by a female
fan.  According to TMZ, Frusciante said she is obsessed and "I am worried that she is unstable and that she could snap at any moment."

Last we Frusciante filed a request in Los Angeles  last week, stating August Elizabeth Thomas 32 approached him last year about writing a screenplay on his life ... he refused her offer but she seemed to not understand, she wouldn't take no for an answer.

Frusciante claims Thomas of sending "aggressively worded letters and emails (many times stating she is often under the influence of alcohol), showing up at venues where his wife (also a rocker) was performing in an attempt to talk to her about the script.

The rocker says this has been going on since 1988 and that the woman showed up at his house on July 28 and then again the next day which is why he finally decided to press charges. Frusciante says at this point he is fearful for the safety of his wife since she travels and frequently to do live performances all over the world and there is nothing to prevent Thomas from attending shows either of them are performing.

Both parties are due in court later this month, can you say crazeeeeee?! I guess Thomas might have a defense... she can just say "Can't Stop."
