Red Raider Makes History With Pastafarian Statement

Eddie Castillo is my hero.  Eddie is a Tech student and a "Pastafarian".  Pastafarians are devotees of "the Flying Spagetti Monster".  Citing his "religious beliefs" Eddie was able to take the photo for his i.d. with a pasta strainer on his head.

Although a few people around the world have been successful in their efforts to have their government i.d.s taken with a strainer on their heads, Eddie is apparently the first American to have it actually done.

"Pastafarinism" was first "invented" as a form of satire in a fight against intelligent design being taught in biology classes.
