Red Raiders Walk Off Winners Wednesday Night

After posting a sweep against NIU a few days ago, Texas Tech baseball turned its attention to the Hornets of Sacramento State.

We'll go ahead and fast forward to the ninth inning of this one; the Red Raiders are searching for a spark, being down 3-1 with the team's second loss breathing down its neck.

William Hairston led off the frame, reaching first on a shot up the middle. Tim Proudfoot went down looking, but Quinn Carpenter then slapped a single to left. Tanner Gardner also went down looking, but Cory Raley brought 'em home with a two-out, game-tying double. Eric Gutierrez was then walked, only to bring up Tyler Neslony, who rattled a shot to center and brought home Raley for a final of 4-3.
