Red Sun Rising Gives Props to FMX Deejay Driver [Photo]

It's not often we toot our own horn, but it feels damn good when a band with two no. 1 singles in rock radio gives you a shout out on Facebook.

Red Sun Rising was in Lubbock Wednesday night (AKA the day Lubbock flooded) and rocked The Backstage. The band graciously posed for a picture with FMX afternoon deejay Driver, and singer Mike Protich thanked him and the Backstage staff for their hard work and great treatment of touring bands.

Protich, who celebrated his birthday last night, also thanked fans who came out to the show despite the bad weather, calling them "the reason we have and will continue to come back to Lubbock, Texas."
