I have to admit that I was, and still am, a Def Leppard fan.

I remember the first time I heard "Rock Brigade" back in 1980, and thought 'Holy Crap' who is this band? Back in the day Def Leppard was the sh**. Joe Elliott on vocals, guitarist Pete Willis and Steve Clark sharing lead guitar duties on classic records like High 'n' Dry, Hysteria, and Pyromania.

Sadly on 1/8/91 the world of rock and roll lost yet another gifted musician, when Steve Clark was found dead at the age of thirty from an overdose of a combination of valium, codeine and alcohol.

Take the time and pull out some Def Leppard today, and join me in remembering Steve "Steamin" Clark on the 21st anniversary of his passing.
