I gave in and went to the doctors on Saturday. The diagnosis was "Lubbockitis"

The doctor explained that this time of year everything is floating around from cotton processing to various bugs to whatever the kids are passing around in school. It's an annual tradition and one we don't like too much.

For me, it started with burning nasal passages and throat, acted like a common cold for about a week, then went into my chest overnight. I woke up Saturday and it felt like an elephant sitting on my chest. The official diagnosis "bronchitis" (brought on by the other stuff).

This is a tough one for some people to kick. Don't let it set in too long before you break down and go to the doctor. If you haven't caught it yet, keep washing those hands and avoid tall snotty d.js. Good luck!
