Lubbock Police received a call Thursday afternoon around 5 p.m. about an aggressive driver.

According to the report from KAMC, there was an aggressive driver headed westbound on the South Loop 289 with another vehicle following behind.

Police say that one of the drivers had a firearm and displayed it to another driver. They were both pulled over at the intersection of 98th and Frankford near Stripes, about three miles from where the incident happened.

Fifty-year-old Johnny Nolan was arrested.

According to Lt. Ray Mendoza with the Lubbock Police Department, officers "successfully took [the driver] into custody without any incident."

Police remind the public to call 911 and report the license plate numbers during dangerous road situation and not to follow or approach anyone who has brandished a weapon.
