Wednesday night at the Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie The Rock Allegiance Tour kicked off with seven rocking bands, near seven full hours of ass kicking music, who could ask for more in the middle of the first week of school? From the second we pulled into the parking lot we could feel the vibe of a good night of rock and roll awaited us. Everything about this place was right on from the parking attendants to to the cleanliness of the restrooms; everything was great!

We picked up our tickets, grabbed a few drinks then headed to our seats. It was 4:45 and the show was scheduled to start at 5:00 so we figured we would have a bit of a wait, but hey it was nice and cool in there and a scorching 108 with about 90 percent humidity outside so we were happy to just sit and wait.

The show started at exactly at 5:00 with "Drive A" and continued on time for the rest of the night! Over the course of the next five rocked out to Cross Fade, Red, POD, Puddle of Mudd and Buckcherry, and then at 10:20 on the Jacoby and the boys of Papa Roach hit the stage.

They rocked it non stop until nearly midnight and the crowd was into it the entire time singing along with classics like "Scars" and the newest release "No Matter What."

This precision with which this show was put on was spectacular, the arena was fabulous (at one point this dude puked and as if by magic two employees showed up to clean it off the floor before anyone around even noticed what happened), the fans were into the show and everyone had a blast!

Unfortunately this tour is not scheduled to make a stop in the Hub City this year, but if you get the chance to catch it I would recommend you do, you wont regret it!

The guys of Papa Roach have been on tour now for nearly a year and according to Jacoby when they wrap this leg up they are going to take some time off before they start back to work on a new album, so this could be the last chance you get to catch them live for a year or more

Check out these clips from the show. I'm telling you if you have never seen these guys (of any of the bands on this bill) live you need to do it they are incredible!
