The man, the myth, the legend that is Mr. Lynn Day is my Man Crush Monday, and he resides right here in Lubbock, Texas.

I first met Lynn Day many, many years ago when I first started in the radio - before Rooster was even my on air name.

Lynn Day invited me to his home for a 1-2-BBQ with some other friends to start off the weekend, and as we started to indulge in the whiskey that Lynn Day was pouring out, we talked music, Pantera, BBQ and, of course, radio.

My phone rang in the middle of all this. It was Wes Nessman, and this was the very first time that he had called me on the phone.

I looked at Lynn and said 'oh, sh*t, it's Wes!" And Lynn said: 'Prolly a good idea that you answer it.' When I did, Wes asked what I was doing. I told him. He then said that I was going to be hired at FMX on a part-time basis. I told Lynn, we celebrated and became close friends over the years.

Lynn Day has been a very close friend of mine that has seen the good, the bad and the undead over the course of our friendship. He's seen the highs of my radio career, as well as some of the yell sessions Wes has given me.

Lynn Day isn't just a friend or a brother; he is one of the most talented men when it comes to metal work. He is an artist, and you can see his work right on the front porch of Dimebag Darrell's house, the front porch to the Full Throttle Saloon in South Dakota and scattered across the United States.

What makes Lynn Day, Lynn Day is something very cool to see, and I am glad I have got to see first hand his accomplishments and been a part of some pretty sketchy stories.

Whether its Nubbins The Clown, Lucious, reality TV Star Lynn or just my brother Lynn Day, what you see is what you get and if you ever have a question and want an honest answer from someone that will absolutely give you the truth, then seek out Lynn Day.

Be sure to catch the 5th Season of Full Throttle Saloon and you can see Lynn Day featured throughout the show. You can also see him during the Halloween season at Nightmare on 19th Street, as well as the FMX concerts.

(Fun fact: if Lynn is wearing overalls, he is not wearing underwear. Don't ask me how I know that.)
