Rooster’s Man Crush Monday – Jimbo Wallace Of The Reverend Horton Heat

Tomorrow night we get our psychobilly on with the return of The Reverend Horton Heat and with it being Monday my Man Crush Monday goes out to Jimbo Wallace stand up bssist for The Rev.

I first met Jimbo when The Rev came to Jake's several years ago when we made a quick connection over tattoos and The Stray Cats. Jimbo has a few tattoos that give props to his personal basses and when he saw my Stray Cats tattoo his gave it huge props saying that it was the best the best Stray Cats tattoo that he has ever seen.

Jimbo always hangs out after the show and always talks to the fans and takes time to visit and take pictures.

One of the my favorite stories that involves Jimbo is the time that Jimbo and I called my Dad at 2 in the morning just to see if we could wake him up and I am pretty sure my Dad still has that voice mail.
