I call this the Triple Threat, I am going through some of my favorite artists and picking my favorite songs by them and some of their under appreciated tracks that you might not hear on a regular basis.

Wes has done a fantastic job with his The Real Five which has featured artists like Nirvana, Godsmack just to name a few. "This list is indisputable because it is not based on taste, likes, or hindsight, this list is based purely on airplay." is what Wes has stated.

What I wanted to do is pick a band and give you 3 tracks that I believe showcase this band's absolute talent. Just on my opinion.

I would hope to get some feedback on this and let the debate begin.

The first band I picked is straight out of Richmond, Virgina, Lamb Of God. This band has seen its fair share of criticism not just from radio but also from the fans as well. Getting very little radio play some fans have stated that Lamb Of God have sold out. And with the little radio play they get they are just to heavy for a constant rotation.

Taken off the 2003 album "As The Palaces Burn" 'Boot Scraper' is a straight kick in the teeth that delivers from the start until finish. Lamb Of God hadn't quite hit the mainstream success just yet with this album but they were definitely starting to turn some heads in the music world.

This song is taken from the 2004 release "Ashes Of The Wake" which is the album that blew up for Lamb Of God which produced hit like "Laid To Rest" "Hourglass" and "Now You've Got Something To Die For" all wich are just incredible. But a killer track from that album that gets over looked is "Omerta." Such a powerful spoken word lyric at the beginning and showed that a track doesn't have to be as fast as you can play to break your neck.

The final song that I have picked is taken from the 2009 album "Wrath." This whole album showed the maturity and tightness of what a metal band should be. With the track 'Contractor' you hear exactly this. Lamb Of God's musical talent and Randy's vocal talent just ooze out of this track.

I hope you dig what I was going for and as always I'm open to a debate.
