Chalk it up as a much better start for the Kansas City Royals and a start of the more stale variety for the New York Mets. The Royals, now 2-0, took game two of the World Series by a score of 7-1 on Wednesday night in Kansas City.

Johnny Cueto went out and pitched a tremendous complete game, including the allowance of a lone run on only two hits. On the offensive side for KC, a barrage of just about everything but a homer in the fifth and eighth innings sealed the deal.

Should Mets fans be worried? One would have to think so. I mean, the Royals have shown that can play anywhere in the continent, but the Mets are here for a reason.

Either way, the Mets have their work cut out for down two games and returning to a restless home crowd. It'll be a ruckus crowd at Citi Field on Friday. Pitchers for Friday are scheduled to be Yordano Ventura and Noah Syndergaard.
