Rush has released Clockwork Angels the bands first new studio disc in five years, and the word is they will feature a string ensemble of eight to ten pieces, when the tour kicks off on September 7, in Manchester, New Hampshire.

According to guitarist Alex Lifeson, Rush will use the string ensemble on tunes off of the new record and on some of the older material. Lifeson, adds that the tour is still in the prodcution phase, but states the new tour will be an extension of the 2010-'11 Time Machine Tour.

The "Clockwork Angels" tour will swing through Texas in November:

Dallas-11/28-San Antonio-11/30-Houston-12/2.
