After forty-five years, countless tunes on the radio and multiple gold and platinum records, Canadian rockers Rush will finally be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.The induction ceremony is set for April 18 at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live. Rush will be inducted in to the hall by Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters at the 28th annual ceremonies.

Geddy Lee says the band is happy and honored to join fellow inductees Albert King, Heart, Public Enemy, Lou Adler, Quincy Jones, Donna Summer and Randy Newman.

Rush and Heart fan club members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets in a early special pre-sale; tickets go on sale to the general public on February 1.

Rush will bring the Clockwork Angels Tour to Austin,Texas on April 23, at the Frank Erwin Center.
