Save A Few Bucks On Books This Weekend

This weekend the "Friends Of The Library" are having their "half-prices book sale". I put that in parenthesis because it's not just books.

You can also save on DVDs and other items this Friday and Saturday. The sale takes place at the Mahon Library 1306 9th from 9 to 5.

I've been really pushing my friends to read some stuff of substance. We're all just used to getting our info in bite size chunks and a lot is lost with that kind of reading. Jump into a good book and expand your brain. I promise you'll feel smarter and more relaxed after just one chapter.

It's important that we preserve libraries for future generations. Not everything can be found on the internet (at least not for free) and not everyone can afford an e-reader. Investing in libraries is investing in the future.
