Schools Out For the Summer

If you are a parent of a school age child you are probably already wishing the kids were still in school.

While this is the time of year kids look forward to, it seems to be the time of year parents dread most.

With the kids out we can all look forward to a few things happening in our homes while we are away at work.

Things like our precious angels eating everything that isn't nailed down in the house and coming home to every dish in the house not only dirty but spread all over the house, the yard, the neighbors yard and lord only knows where else.

If you have more than one kid another thing you can count on is numerous phone calls while you're trying to work... and if you have kids who don't fight and then call you at work you are a liar.

Then there is the endless utterances of "I'm bored" or "there's nothing to do." When clearly if they would look around them at the messes they've made while laying around watching TV, or entertaining each other with stupid stunts they'd see they could clean up the messes they've made, a feat that could take days.
