Scrapped Deftones Album To Be Released

Back in 2008, the band was getting ready to release an album under the name "Eros" until Chi Cheng was involved in a coma-inducing car accident that eventually led to his death earlier this year. That album will finally be released for people to hear.

The band decided to discontinue the album's work, which was near its end, and gather themselves with a new bassist. Eventually, Sergio Vega from Quicksand hopped on board with the guys and the band made the "Diamond Eyes" album.

Since then, the band has also released "Koi No Yokan" and the next album due up is "Eros".

No word on exactly when the album will be released has been disclosed. Stay tuned.
