I have local bands come up to me at concerts and they ask, how they can get played on the radio, well the boys of Second Drive answer that question with a very easy way.

When I came to the radio station this morning I saw something in my mailbox and it was a CD "What's Left Is Decay" from Second Drive.

Now there wasn't a note or anything with it or who might have dropped it off. That is totally cool because what I will do is give the album a listen and get in contact with someone from Second Drive and then spin a track during Everything Goes Black which airs on Sunday nights from 9-11pm.

It literally is that simple is if you are a local band and have a pretty good sounding demo or album then you can swing by the radio station Monday Through Friday 9am - 5pm and drop off a copy at the front desk and ask the lady at the front desk if they would put the album or demo in my mailbox.

I have also had people ask about the sound of a demo or album and I am not asking for Metallica quality production but something that has good production that will sound good on the radio.

I appreciate the boys of Second Drive for dropping off their album and to all other local bands swing by the station and drop off your demo's and albums.
