I have no problem calling out bad behavior anywhere. I don't even have a problem behaving badly. There's a time and a place for everything. But there are also some positions that should be above reproach.

Being a coach is not unlike being a dad or even a priest. You have young people who you have to mold into a team, and how you choose to do that can have a profound effect on them for the rest of their life.

It doesn't matter if Texas Tech fans or students were rude to this coach. It doesn't matter if he was caught up in the heat of the moment. Coaches should carry themselves a little better than this gentleman did.

Almost as bad, we found no evidence that his behavior was even frowned on by Stephen F. Austin. I guess they're cool with their staff flipping people off.
