To say that guitarist Slash doesn't care much for former front man Scott Weiland would be an understatement. Even after being fired from Velvet Revolver back in 2008, Weiland  continues to insist that there are plans for his return.  In a interview with Rolling Stone, Weiland says it's "the perfect time for Velvet Revolver to get back together."

Only problem with this statement from Weiland is that is just not true.

Slash tells Classic Rock in a recent interview "I think at this point Scott just got fired from STP and I think he's trying to pull off that trick of trying to get something else going on, and we're not buying it. The door's shut on this side and it's probably shut on that side too, so he's on his own. And he deserves it, too."

So, if you were looking forward to some grand reunion with Weiland and Velvet Revolver, I wouldn't get my hopes up.
