Slash To Make Horror Films

Are you ready for "Slasher Films"?  Contrary to the name, Slash is looking to do a different type of horror movie.

"What I want to do is bring back character-driven, dramatic, intelligent, humorous horror movies — horror movies that have some depth", Slash told Entertainment Weekly. More and some great videos after the jump.

Slash made the rounds at the Sundance Film Festival and has four projects in the works.  One about zombies, another kind of a modern day Frankenstein story, one about a mathematician who figures out the number of evil and another about townsfolk finding a gate to hell (why is it no one ever leaves the gates to hell alone?).

Hey, I'm all for it.  The more horror movies the better.  But you know what else would be good?  Maybe some Guns n' Roses.
