We've finally got a new Slayer song to blast! So crank your speakers up and get ready to experience "When the Stillness Comes."

It's been a year since Slayer revealed "Implode," the first song to be featured on the thrash legends' upcoming 11th studio album. We've been waiting patiently ever since, but thanks to Rolling Stone, "When the Stillness Comes" is now available to raid your ears (listen above).

Slayer guitarist Kerry King was reportedly in a terrible mood when he penned the lyrics to "When the Stillness Comes." "We were touring Europe and we had a three-hour ride in some f---ing minivan, and I'm just miserable in the backseat, not into anything," King explains. "So I just started jotting down hateful thoughts. It's about a dude who wakes up at a crime scene and realizes he's killed everybody. It's really cool."

As for Slayer's first album since the death of founding guitarist Jeff Hanneman, Kerry says, "I know there's gonna be naysayers. I know there's gonna be people expecting us to fail, because so many things changed in the last six years. I'm prepared for that 'cause I know humans are just retards when they get on the Internet. But I know we put a good product together. I'm proud of it."

A vinyl pressing of "When the Stillness Comes" will precede Slayer's 11th album. The song will be released as a 7" picture disc (limited to 5,000 copies) on Record Store Day 2015 (April 18). Side A is adorned with a blood-stained skull accompanied by a carving of the Slayer logo, while Side B features an inverted cross along with a live version of "Black Magic," which was first released on Slayer's debut album, Show No Mercy.
