This Thursday marks the 12th anniversary of Pearl Jam's Lubbock performance (that was recorded and released on compact disc).  The September 2004 Metallica show was also recorded for digital release.  Both shows had some very unique moments. At the Pearl Jam show they performed Buddy Holly's "Everyday". At Metallica, Sully from Godsmack came out and sang "Sad But True" with the band for the first time (and we think only time) ever.  More after the jump.
