Staind have posted a 10-minute video showing onstage and offstage highlights of their recently wrapped 2011 North American fall/winter tour.

During the video, frontman Aaron Lewis explains how one venue in particular in Biloxi, Miss., is the place where the band’s hit ‘Outside’ was born.

“I went onstage in front of 14,000 people for a sold-out Family Values ’99 show here in the Mississippi Coast Coliseum,” recalls Lewis. “And I had a chord progression and a chorus and I really hadn’t written the rest of the song yet when I went out onstage — and I made it up as I went along. So, this place is pretty near and dear to my heart.”

The video montage then cuts to Lewis performing ‘Outside’ a couple of weeks ago on Dec. 16 at the same venue. During the powerful performance, the camera pans to the audience singing along with every word. Check it out in the video below.
