Staind to Play Show in NYC For 9/11 Victims

Members of Staind have decided to kick off the release of their new album with a special performance benefitting families affected by the 9/11 attacks.

The Best Buy Theater will be the venue for the performance on September 15, as tickets will be only $9.11.  The price was set that way to "underscore the point that if enough of us do just a little bit, together we can make a big difference in the lives of the families whose members made the supreme sacrifice for our country," according to singer Aaron Lewis.

Staind's self-titled album will be released on Tuesday, the 13th, which goes perfectly with the performance on Thursday. They will also be performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday as well.
