Starset Opens the 34th Annual FMX Birthday Bash [Photos]

Kicking things off on the main stage at the 34th annual FMX Birthday Bash was Columbus, Ohio's Starset.

Prior to the Birthday Bash, Starset singer Dustin Bates called into The Midday Meltdown to talk about playing Lubbock and touring with The Pretty Reckless and Halestorm. Bates joked that he'd be following around The Pretty Reckless' Taylor Momsen at the show.

While we can't vouch for whether or not he followed through with that, he definitely was all about the performance when he took the stage at the Lonestar Amphitheater.

Rocking their patented futuristic costumes and keyboard-laden sound, the guys played songs from their debut album Transmissions.
