Well, this is a tough one. Evidently many wanted this 4th of July show to be more of a "family event," so Steel Panther is off the bill.

This decision was made WITHOUT the radio station's input, but we have to respect it.

Due to excessive complaints, requests and actual ticket trends, Steel Panther was dropped from the bill.

We certainly hope to have them at a future show that they can call their own. We would be proud to host them any time, at any place. Their humor is very tongue in cheek, but does feature graphic references and profanity.

It's weird when people know about your language in advance, I guess.  Personally, I've never heard any act use as many curse words as Breaking Benjamin, and there were no complaints about that.

I also guess the language versus the way it's used is also a factor. I still think it's an awful precedent to set.

I'm a little bummed about this, but I can relate.

When my daughter was very little, we took her to see ZZ Top. It was a great show...until they introduced silhouettes of live nude girls dancing.

I thought it was a bit much for a kid her age, so we split. Apparently, there were a bunch of vocal parents out there who wanted to take their kids to see 3 Doors Down & Theory of A Deadman on the 4th of July show.

All I can say is, good luck when Theory of a Deadman starts singing "my girlfriend is a dick magnet."
