Stone Sour Reportedly Embarking On Cover Album Adventure

As we've seen from many bands through history, cover albums are a tribute to past influences and inspirations. Bands such as Godsmack and Metallica have gone down the road of the cover album, and now Stone Sour is aiming to do the same.

The band has been toying with ideas on tour as well, covering anything from Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes" to KISS and even AC/DC. One could probably deduce that we'll see that material, or something similar, on this upcoming covers effort.

As of now, no official details have been given out, besides the fact that the album is being recorded. Expect an early to mid-2015 release.
