Street Artist “Banksy” Pulls A Fast One On New York [VIDEO]

I love the stencil art of street artist "Banksy". You may find a few of the graphics in this video familiar. Evidently most of the people in New York did not.  This little booth had hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of Banksy's art for sale at a whopping $60 a piece.

Banksy's stuff generally sells in the five figures.  Yeah, like 10 grand plus. Due to the way it was set up and presented, his representative didn't even make enough to pay a weeks rent in New York.

Banksy's real identify is not known or at least not widely known. I really recommend the excellent documentary "Exit Through The Gift Shop" which really isn't even directly focused on Banksy, but on a guy pretty much stealing his process.  Anyways, here's the video of the art sale.
