Summer Is Almost Over

If you consult a calendar Fall doesn't arrive until September 23rd. What we all know is that Summer is really over the minute school starts.  Here in Lubbock, for L.I.S.D. anyways, that day is August 25th.

So is there anything on your little "summer bucket list" you haven't done?  Did you stuff your summer with enough barbeques, trips to the pool and blockbuster movies?  I really only had one goal and I blew it. I was hoping to see the new Planet Of The Apes movie in a theater but I waited just a bit too long.  I wouldn't mind hitting a pool and showing off my White Chocolate magnificence.

So consider this you're two and a half week warning: you're about to run out of summer. It's time to get those last days off in. Enjoy a margarita on the porch or put your toes in some sand if you can. The summer of 2014 is almost over. How about you drop us a note and tell us what you want to get done before Summer is done?
