Summer Vacation Will Be Here Before You Know It

I can not believe January is already halfway over, before you know it May will be here and and it will be time to take the annual summer vacation with the wood maker.We were thinking a cruise would be fun, then this weekend we decided maybe not...

Then we were watching TV the other night and saw a program on driving the Pacific Coast Highway and taking in all the sights.

How awesome would it be to rent a car, or better yet, take a train and catch such sights as Big Sur, The Santa Monica Peir, The Golden Gate Bridge, and Point Reyes National Seashore before heading to the Oregon Dunes and on to Olympic National Park. Clark Griswold don't have sh** on me! 

Unless of course gas prices keep going up, then we may just rent a car and drive around Yellow House Canyon...
