It's no secret that I'm a huge supporter of local talent.

Not just music, but also the art community and theater community as well.

One thing that I really look forward to is The Lubbock Community Theatre, (located right here in Lubbock at 4232 Boston Ave) yearly productions.

This Friday, May 25 beginning at 7:30 p.m. you have the chance to catch their production of 'Ripcord.'

Ripcord is a story of crabby old woman who lives in a retirement facility who is suddenly forced to share her space with a new resident. Since most of us have someone in our life's like this, there's a good you'll relate to this story line.

More information about this play and many others can be found on their website.
