As we get ready for the return of Apocalyptica to Lubbock, it's cellist Perttu Kivilaakso 37th birthday.

The concert season is very much upon us and we aren't slowing down. We start the ticket blowout for Apocalyptica who hit Lubbock in May.

Apocalyptica have previewed another new song, "Till Death Do Us Part," ahead of their 'Shadowmaker' album released.

Well guys, it's another "I told you so" moment. We're starting to get a tour date here and there from bands making their way to and from the mega-festivals out there. In addition to Nothing More on April 14, Lubbock is hosting an Apocalyptica Shadowmaker Tour date.

We all know Sixx A.M. has some very, very talented guys backing the project, with Nikki Sixx on bass, DJ Ashba on guitar from Guns N' Roses and James Michael as the frontman. These guys are launching a new tour and it's making two stops right here in Texas.

Apocalyptica are currently in the studio wrapping up their eighth studio album with plans for an early 2015 release.
