We are 6 days away from the Big Purple Party and as we celebrate a Woman Crush Wednesday we celebrate with Maria Brink which In This Moment will be in town for the BPP.

We are getting close to this year's Big Purple Party, and a band playing the show that you might not know (but should!) is Sons of Texas. Lead guitarist Jes DeHoyos took some time to call in to The Midday Meltdown and talk about the show and a subject near and dear to my heart: drinking.

April saw another awesome FMX Birthday Bash come and go, and now you just might find yourself wondering how can we possibly top that show.

When you look at this year's lineup for the FMX Big Purple Party I can promise you that the lead singer's of some of these bands will be bringing their absolute best to not only entertain but to leave their lasting impression that they out preformed the others.

This year's Big Purple Party is bigger and better than ever.

Yeah, I just dropped that bomb. But I did not do it to hype you up or any of that baloney. I did it to make sure you're ready and not caught off guard.

With the FMX Birthday Bash announced and excitement building, the question "when's the FMX Purple Party happening?" keeps coming up. Well, I can tell you that it looks like it will happen, but it's going to be a bit different this year.

The new album from Hellyeah entitled "Blood For Blood" is in stores now and Hellyeah continue to give us some pretty cool videos.

Someday somebody will make a "concert-cam" so you can get some good audio at concerts.  Then, somebody else will ban us from taking those cameras to concerts.  At least with these videos, I've got pretty good videos.  These are crowd and stage shots of Killswitch Engage.
