We're used to seeing Metallica rock out live, so it was quite a sight to check out frontman James Hetfield not only without the thunderous backing of his band, but also unplugging for an acoustic benefit. Hetfield was part of an all-star lineup for the 'Acoustic-4-A-Cure benefit at San Francisco's Fillmore Thursday night (May 15), where he performed a four-song set and returned for the finale.
Although the spot was cut from the final version of the film during the editing process, Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong played a cameo role as himself in the latest Judd Apatow film, ‘This is 40.’ While the clip doesn't appear on the big screen, fans can now check out the lost footage online, seen below.
If this were the days of singles, nearly everything on Green Day's "Uno" would be an "A" side, while everything on "Dos" would be a "B" side. Now, don't get me wrong, "B" side Green day is still pretty awesome. More after the jump.
Just finished ONE listen to Green Day's "Uno" and I could not be more excited. In fact there are a lot of things I should be doing rather than writing this, but I wanted to dash out my initial thoughts. My first thought is WOW! More after the jump.
