Pickleball continues to grow in popularity in Lubbock and now new courts are being built.

Another hat is tossed into the ring for Mayor of Lubbock.

Someone played an awesome practical joke at a local city council meeting in Los Angeles. Someone signed up as Mike Hunt and then wasn't present to speak. This of course led the person in charge to repeat the citizen's name to ensure that they had their time to speak. And repeat it they did. Four times in about 15 seconds, completely unaware of what he was saying. This makes for an awesome RockShow

The Lubbock City Council is on the case regulating bounce houses according to Channel 11.

I am pissed. Evidently lots of our elected and appointed officials are tax cheats. It's embarrassing what happened yesterday. The city council wanted a ruling from a judge on whether Councilman Victor Hernandez should be removed from office because of his tax problems....then it was found out the city attorney had had similar problems. And lets not forget the Assistant City manager who has had problems something like 16 times. Keep reading for the rest of the story
