On Friday October 3, 2014 Flyleaf returned to town following a long two year absence. This was the first stop of their new U.S. Fall Tour in support of the new album "Between The Stars". This was our first chance to see new lead singer Kristen May (that replaced Lacey Sturm), a wonderful and exciting singer. This band from Temple, Texas is definitely back on track and breaking loose. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening especially the half hour I got to visits with this band from my home town; the night was one to remember.

This past Friday Flyleaf came to Lubbock and put on a killer rock show. If you made it to the show early enough you also got to see the opening band Lullwater. These dudes left their mark in Lubbock.

Flyleaf kicked off their fall US tour in Lubbock, Texas with an energy that brought the packed house at Jake's Backroom to its knees.

Flyleaf dropped by the FMX studio in Lubbock before their show at Jake's Friday night (October 3) to talk about the new record "Between the Stars," new singer Kristen May's impact on the band dynamic and, of course, rock out live and unplugged.

Flyleaf's changing of the guard with new vocalist Kristen May has many fans curious about what to expect from the band's live shows. This Friday (October 3), Lubbock will find out firsthand. Guitarist Sameer Bhattacharya called in to discuss the upcoming show, plus touch on the year that helped the band find its new voice.

Flyleaf is coming home. The band will return to Texas to kick off a five-week tour in support of its new record, "Between the Stars."

After the departure of former lead singer Lacey Sturm, the Texas alt rockers looked to frontwoman Kristen May to lead the helm. The new effort, the band's fourth from the studio, is available for your ears here.

Former lead singer of Flyleaf Lacey Sturm will release her memoir and in this memoir she talks about several topics about suicide, being a mother and why she decided to leave Flyleaf.
