We are overjoyed to have the legendary Godsmack as headliners for X-Fest 9. Together with Staind, Halestorm and Man Made Machine we expect a killer time outdoors. Here's the scoop. Have you every heard about a show called Glee? I don't watch it, but that doesn't mean that I don't know that it's one of the biggest things in the world right now. On that show is the actress Lea Michele who is the big breakout star. Now, here's the scoop, during the winter finale of that show, Lea will be singing a Halestorm song you probably haven't even heard yet. More after the jump.
Seems lately more and more bands are putting out CD's doing cover tunes, Puddle of Mudd did their RE:(Disc)Overed, Halestorm offered up their cover EP "ReAnimate" and now Godsmack has wrapped up work on a "Covers" EP of their own.
Mike Mushock from Staind is actually a great guy and a great conversationalist. The band sometimes gets a bad rap as sullen, but that's just a part of what they do. We had the opportunity to chat with Mike and he was pretty engaging, even though we opened with an UNINTENTIONAL bad joke.
Tickets are now on sale to the public for FMX's X-Fest 9 with a co-headliner bill of Godsmack and Staind on April 21 at the Lonestar Amphitheater. Tickets can be bought online through Front Gate Tickets or in store at Ralph's Records.
