David Draiman recently announced he was at work on a new “musical project” that will bring a more industrial vibe to the table. Now, the Disturbed frontman reveals that he has drafted a guitarist who knows the genre well — ex-Filter guitarist Geno Lenardo.

Ex-Metallica Bassist Ron McGovney just took a verbal swing at his former bandmate Dave Mustaine, after the Megadeth guitarist completely cut McGovney out of Metallica’s history during a recent interview. McGovney feels that Mustaine has continued to show him a lack of respect by “minimizing” his involvement during Metallica’s early stages.

The upcoming soundtrack to the film ‘The Raid: Redemption,’ includes the new song ‘Razors.Out’ featuring Linkin Park‘s Mike Shinoda (who also scored the film) and Deftones vocalist Chino Moreno.

Although it’s been nearly six years since the release of Tool‘s last album, drummer Danny Carey says that the wait is almost over. In a new interview, Carey says the band plans to enter the studio this June and talks about how the new songs are shaping up thus far.
