If you haven't taken a look at your calendar lately you might not be aware that there are less than six weeks (that's less than 45 days) until Christmas.
By now it should be widely known, all of us here at FMX have a very special place in our hearts for the guys in HURT, we all think of each of the guys as family. Not only are these guys amazing artists, they are really good dudes who truly care about their fans.
There has been a new development in HURT's June 1 visit to the Hub City, relax... The are still playing at the pre-party at Fubar... trust me this is a good development.
In case you have not heard yet Guns N Roses will be hitting the Hub City this weekend, June 1, 2013 at the Lone Star Amphitheater. As of right now there has been no official opening act reported for this show. Never fear though my friends, if you are one of those who like to get your party on before the big show starts, or if you find yourself a little low on cash but want to go to a live show and be a part of the excitement.
It looks like it will be a rainy Wednesday. Sometimes there's nothing better than a rainy day and little heartfelt jam. Since we don't want to play this song over and over, I wanted to put it up on the website for you. The song is 'Caught In The Rain' by "Hurt" and it's just friggin' amazing.
It is hard to believe that it has nearly been a month since Smile Empty Soul and HURT rocked the Hub city's newest live music venue, The Republic on Texas. I can not tell you how friggin amazing this band is live
It was a little over six months ago that Hurt fans got the news that the show featuring Taproot and Hurt for June 15th in the room of doom had been cancelled. Some sort of conflict with dates had surfaced and the Taproot guys had to pull out a week before the show.
Imagine a warm June night. A dimly lit room with about 300 to 400 of your closest friends gathered for a party that was announced three days before. For those of you who were there you just had a flashback to June 15, 2012 when Hurt hit Lubbock, to promote their latest CD, The Crux.
Have you ever liked a song by an artist who you normally don't care for and think, "man this song would really rock if ... (whoever that may be) did a cover of it.
