After letting the news sink in, Kittie's Morgan Lander has issued a statement regarding the death of bassist Trish Doan, expressing how close the two were.

The female metal veterans informed fans on Doan’s passing via Facebook.

Kittie are set to release their "best of" album this September which is titled "Not So…Safe".

I am ready for some "Big Brother".  The show is without a doubt a guilty pleasure for me.  Some of the competitions are so incredibly stupid I want to shoot my t.v.  What I DO love is the scheming and plotting and backstabbing that goes on.
