Tonight is a great opportunity to support some young musicians and veterans of the local metal scene tonight at Jake's.

This last Friday J And B Productions hosted another battle of the bands in Jake's Backroom.

Bringing something new to the Lubbock scene its' Genesis Device!

Everybody knows how much I love metal the harder and faster the better!

Colossus of Rhodes will bring it this Friday night at Wreckers and they are bringing the heavy-hitters with them. It's kind of a "local band" grand opening for Wreckers and FMX is on the case!

When I was looking for bands to have on 9:06 Local Lix I was really stoked to see in my mailbox a CD from End, Ocean. I have seen these boys a couple of times and they never disappoint. The album that they gave me is called "Currents" and contains 9 tracks...

Here in Lubbock we are very lucky to live in an area with such diverse local music. Everything from Metal, Country, Rock And Roll to Swing. I am a huge supporter of local music and try to make to every show that I can. I am honored by getting to do local lix.
