I dialed up "Fast Times At Ridgemont High" yesterday and was reminded of what a treasure it is.  You see, I LIVED "Fast Times" in Southern California before moving to Texas.  The book came out in 1981 with the movie coming out in 1982.  I left California in 1978, so I knew ALL of these characters.

I'm a huge Will Ferrel fan, but when I first saw the poster for "Step Brothers" I was very skeptical. Instead Will and John C. Reilly put together what has to be one of the funniest movies of all time. If you're not familiar with the movie, the two are both nearly 40 year old stay at home kids who's parents get married.

Just in time for Cinco De Mayo, it's "The Three Amigos".  Yes, you've probably stopped and watch five minutes or so, but have you really sat down and watched the movie beginning to end?  The movie features Steve Martin's trademark 'wacky' humor, but even though there's a bit of a cheese factor, there are undeniable moments of comedy genius.  More after the jump.

In the early days of cable t.v. we were all stunned by a comedy show called "Pee Wee's Playhouse".  We watched it over and over again, then invited our friends over and had them watch it.  We were stoked when we heard that Pee Wee was making a movie.  More after the jump.

There's a lot of Jim Carrey hatin' going on these days, but there's no denying that he's made some of the funniest comedies ever.  Of all of his movies, I go back to this one even more than "Dumb and Dumber".  More after the jump.

It's another installment of a comedy, you just gotta see!  When Heathen I tried brainstorming the funniest comedy of the last five years, this one came in just under the wire.  From 2007 it's "Superbad" with Jonah Hill, Micheal Cera and Christopher Mintz-Plasse.  Like most great comedies it had a great supporting cast too with a young Emma Stone, Seth Rogen, and Bill Hader.  More after t

I have rarely found a comedy as re-watchable as "Tommy Boy".  The movie was the perfect vehicle for stars Chris Farley and David Spade.  The movie was a  perfect distillation of the chemistry between these two.  More after the jump.

I thought for a minute about doing a series of "must see movies" but decided it would be better to focus on comedies.  Even better, you know how sometimes you get tired of looking for something to watch so you stop on one of your favorites and get sucked back in all over again?  I'm going to focus not just on comedies, but highly re-watchable comedies.  Once again, I'm not ranking these
