It is a sad fact, the world is full of "haves" and "have-nots". I hate to break it to ya, you're probably going to be a "have-not" when it comes to getting tickets for Paul McCartney. Those tickets are probably so picked over at this point that any remaining single seats will probably be gone about ten seconds after the go on sale.
This is a tough one. I think people who want to get high are going to get high and there's nothing you can do about it. You just have to hope that you can help get them over whatever the reasons are that they feel the need to escape. It seems to me that prohibition is the root of this latest evil and lifting it is the easiest solution.
This one opens up some fun memories. I would hope at this point in your life you've caught a free glimpse of something fun. Sure, you're a nice, moral, upstanding person, but if it's out there, it's out there and you couldn't help it.
This was another great question. Since we do blog and photo galleries we deal with this all of the time. I can even give you a great example. Somehow Lubbock Online talks their way into FMX events, takes pictures, then publishes them on their web site without even saying it's an FMX event. I have an even better example for you.
I recently saw this list called "20 Signs You're From Lubbock Texas". I think it was actually an ad for a relator. Inside were some things about Lubbock that made a bunch of sense and bunch of others that were real head scratchers. Rather than propagate those observations, I have a few of my own.
Today is Earth day. I think one of our basic responsibilites as humans is to take care of our planet so future generations will get to enjoy the planet. That's about as hippy-dippy as I get. It's simple. You want your grandkids to have clean air and water right? Okay, then check out my list of REALLY simple tips.
Rollins just cracks me up. He never actually tells jokes but he always has humorous stories. In his little talk about gay marriage he spills a couple stories, one funny and one poignant. I hope you'll take the time to check this out.
Thank goodness my personal boycott of one supermarket chain is nearing the end. As I mentioned before, since I've had to start going to Wally World, I do it at 5:30 or 6:30 in the morning on Sundays when no one is there. Today, I was forced to face the humanity of 'THE PEOPLE OF WAL-MART'.
We haven't heard counts today, but we don't really need to. Numbers are numbers and trends and trends. In Lubbock most people buy their concert tickets the week of and the day of. That's cool, we understand that lineups change and sometimes even venues change and those changes may not suit you. We can tell you that there is NO WAY that this event will not sell out at some point.
Okay, what's up with this black chip nonsense? Did Lay's quality control fall down on the job? Could it be that this is the fabled "Black Ticket" that gets me a Willy Wonka tour of the Lay's factory? The only things I know for sure are, #1. I'm not eating it and #2. It's not the worst thing I've found in my food.
