The enclosed Dave Grohl meme is SO important, so spot on and such a great lesson. You can't be afraid to be bad at something because eventually you'll be good. Along the way, you just may have the time of your life. (Caution Dirty Words)
I guess it's some kind of "honor" for plays on YouTube, but there is a cool little thing happening on their search screen today. I think what they're doing is somehow recognizing that bizarre "What The Fox Says" video, but the actual "honor" is way cooler than the song.
The trailer for the new Godzilla movie is here and he makes stuff "blow up real good". Oh and he apparently steps on stuff and breaks stuff with his tail and is generally a bad lizard. Now that would be enough for most people, but I've combined this trailer with the classic midnight movie cartoon "Bambi -VS-Godzilla".
It's awesome that Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters always seem to remember how fun rock is and should be. For reasons known only to them, they dropped into a pizza joint and played for two and a half hours.
Tom Mabe is an epic prankster. You may remember him from the OLD days with his "pranks on the telemarketers" calls. He was recently part of a video where the "specter of death" (a remote controlled contraption) chased folks down. Now, he's pulling prank in hopes of saving a life.
I don't care about Christmas. As I've said before I like the fact that people are generally nicer to each other. I like the lights, the food and a few other things. Other than that, I'm kind of tired of the onslaught of that starts every Black Friday. Do I care if you celebrate it? Not at all.
Not getting your kid vaccinated does not make you a good parent, it makes you a bad human. All of the "anti-vaccine" nonsense can be traced back to one fraudulent study, but I'll let Bill Gates explain that to you next.
I don't even know what gets into some peoples minds. I saw on the news a story about a sheriff/asshat who is making a big deal about NOT flying his flag at half mast in honor of anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela. The question this brings up is simple, why is such a big deal to show some respect for another human being?
December 8th is a dark day in music history. On this day in 2004 Dimebag Darrel was shot and killed. On this day in 1980 John Lennon was shot and killed. There's even more tragedy associated with this day.
Yes, they have apparently been around a bit, but just today their single shipped to radio. The song is called "Just A Ride". Imagine maybe, The Sick Puppies meet Green Day in a bar fight. It's punky and it rocks really hard.
I hope you use at least a small part of your time on the interweb learning stuff. It's just so much easier to watch a five minute video with a great teacher than trying to digest some dry textbook. Some of the smartest and most interesting people on the web are on the "Big Think" channel on YouTube. You'll see everything from physicists to magicians and even Henry Rollings telling you about cool stuff.
