I haven't written one of these horror movie reviews in a bit, but this one had to be written. I was giving all the movies I saw four or more "Nightmares." I almost felt guilty that I was misleading people by rating the movies too well. Now, I finally have a chance to tell you about one I didn't enjoy.

There is a moment in the movie "Training Day" that I'm always brought back to, its' that moment when their at the kitchen table laughing joking and showing off their guns and then things turn deadly serious.  The original Wolf Creek had "that moment" when you met the lovable outback guy "Mick", who turns into a crazed killer.  Well Mick is back, and so are many of thi

You know that girl you went to school with that came back from summer vacation and she was suddenly "hot"?  That girl is "Mandy Lane".  Mandy is played by Amber Heard.  The movie is incredibly well shot and well acted but it falls apart a little at the end.

I am horribly behind on my horror movies (still haven't got to Carrie or All The Guys Love Mandy Lane yet and I'm still trying to figure out "John Dies At The End"). So I'm just going to lay out three I loved and one I hated for you. Maybe you'll find something you'll enjoy or avoid on the list.

Here's a fun list for you.  There are all kinds of horror movies out there, but there's some that are better than others about making you get up and check the locks.  These are the ones that make the hair on the back of your neck stand up and make every little creak in your house seem like a big deal.

Yep, me, the horror movie fan, is just getting around to "World War Z".   I'm kind of glad I waited too.  The bigger distance you have between the book and the movie the better, because they have virtually nothing in common.  In fact, to the best of my recollection they only things they have in common are the name and the topic of "global zombie outbreak".

I have always related to the Frankenstein monster. He was uncomfortable in his body, misunderstood because of his stature and really wanted to do right, but often people and circumstances wouldn't let him. There are other reasons why I identify with Frankenstein, but we're not here to psychoanalyze me, we're here to talk about a classic movie.

I started this series out as my favorite Horror movies, but what the heck.  I guess I'll put in some reviews of current material as well.  The movie "Mama" was well reviewed by the media and by friends, but they all forget to tell you one thing-this isn't a 'straight up' horror movie.

It's a pretty good time in entertainment. Cable channels, rental places, and even the movie industry itself are now looking at producing content that may not play big theaters.  I've even heard that they are going to make a direct to home sequel to Joe Dirt.  This phenomenon is especially an exciting time for horror fans because if you have a decent script and okay actors you can make a pretty goo

Scream was the first movie I ever watched twice back to back.  I don't know why I missed it in theaters (probably because the trailer doesn't do the movie justice). All I know is I rented it on a Friday night, watched it, went to bed and then woke up and watched it again.  I've seen it a dozen times and have invested numerous hours in it and all of the sequels.  More after the jump.
