I hope you are ready to check out The Big Purple Party tomorrow at The Lonestar Amphitheater. One of the bands performing is Nonpoint and you can check out an acoustic performance of a Eric Clapton classic here.
After being in this business for 30 years, it doesn't take long for me to find out if a band produces a good or bad interview. I knew when Elias Soriano and Rasheed Thomas broke out the James Brown, it was going to be a killer interview.
Tonight it's on when Nonpoint and Taproot take the stage in The Backroom located at Jake's 50th and Slide.
To the people out there that say there isn't any meaning to videos anymore, I would ask them to watch Five Finger Death Punch's "Remember Everything" and now I can add to the list Taproot's "The Everlasting" which you can check out here.
Taproot are back and are reaching even deeper to bring you rock with meaning. The new song "The Everlasting" seems to be a cross between the events of September 11th and a relationship. The song comes off as Taproot meets U2 and it's absolutely chilling. More after the jump.
I am very stoked that Nonpoint have released some new details about their latest album.
We've always had a special relationship with Nonpoint. They even bailed us out of jam when we lost a Birthday Bash band. There cover of "In The Air Tonight" redefined a classic (and in my opinion kept Godsmack from releasing their version). Taproot is also well known for wowing Lubbock audiences. More after the jump.
Nonpoint, has three new members that have joined founding frontman Elias Soriano and drummer Rob Rivera. The band, has added Chicago area rockers Dave Lizzio (guitar), Rasheed Thomas (guitar) and Adam Woloszyn (bass) have decided to leave the Windy City, for the beaches of Florida.
If you have never seen Nonpoint live, then you are missing out on a serious live show.
